Angine de Poitrine

ANGINE DE POITRINE LIVE AT CLUB SODA, MONTREAL (PHOTOS)

Quebec’s most unsimulatable duo descended on a sold-out Club Soda in Montreal over the weekend, and delivered exactly what a frenzied crowd came for.

Angine de Poitrine, the anonymous Saguenay duo of guitarist Khn de Poitrine and drummer Klek de Poitrine, perform in oversized papier-mâché masks and black-and-white polka-dotted costumes , and their Montreal set was every bit as frenzied and hypnotic as the KEXP session that made them a global phenomenon.

The nine-song set drew heavily from their April release Vol. II, with six tracks from the new record alongside three from their 2024 debut Vol. 1.

The band is currently in the middle of a sold-out Quebec leg of their 2026 international tour, with European dates to follow in May and a first-ever run of U.S. shows scheduled for September.  Catch them while the rooms are still this size.
