Coming off Kittie’s recent Spit XXV EP of re-recorded favorites, the Canadian metal band have now unveiled plans to celebrate their thirtieth anniversary together as a band with an upcoming North American headline tour.
Dubbed the "Legacy of Fire Tour,” the late spring trek is primed to find the quartet honoring 30 years of Kittie, from their early nu-metal era up towards the incendiary sound of 2024 comeback LP Fire.
The 16-date trip begins June 6th at the Pageant in St. Louis, Missouri, and will mark Kittie’s first major headline tour in over ten years. The band will be joined throughout by Sacramento, California metalcore act Kingdom of Giants and Texas-made quartet Gore.
"We're excited to announce our ‘Legacy of Fire’ tour on the eve of our 30th anniversary as a band,” Kittie wrote in a group statement. “Thirty years ago, we ignited a spark. Three decades later, that fire is still burning, stronger and more focused than ever.”
They continued: “‘Legacy of Fire’ is a celebration of every stage, every struggle, and every fan who carried us forward… We’re ready to honor our history while ushering in the next chapter!”
Pre-sales begin tomorrow (March 3rd), while tickets become available to the general public on Friday (March 6th) at 10 a.m. You’ll find more pre-sale info here, while the tour route is down below.
