Rival Sons Announce U.S. Headline Tour

Rival Sons are heading back out across the US this fall on a run they're calling The Domestic Bliss Tour. The 24-date trek opens Halloween weekend with a Friday night show in Boise on October 30 and carries through to a November 29 closer in Fort Wayne, hitting clubs and theaters in Seattle, Portland, Austin, Milwaukee, Cleveland, New Haven, and points between.

Frontman Jay Buchanan framed the tour as a quick domestic strike between the band's other commitments. "A lot of irons in the RIVAL SONS fire right now but we wanted to break off a quick one domestically, get out there and run it hot for a minute," he said in the announcement. "24 US dates in the fall - Announcing The Domestic Bliss Tour let's go!"

We caught the band back in April aboard Little Steven's Underground Garage Cruise 2, the four-night Miami-to-Cozumel sailing where they shared a Norwegian Pearl bill with Social Distortion, Michael Monroe, Buzzcocks, and a deep roster of garage-rock lifers — and the live firepower they brought to the water is exactly what this fall run is built to deliver on dry land.

The Blue Stones and The Velveteers open every night of the tour, with The Blue Stones handling support on their own for the Cleveland and Worcester dates. Artist pre-sale begins at 12 noon ET today using the password BLISS.
