Slaughter to Prevail singer and bare-knuckle brawler Alex Terrible has detailed the debut live event from his new Blood4Blood fighting promotion, and it’s coming ahead of schedule. Set to launch this spring, it will feature Terrible in a headlining bout, and will also feature performances from STP, Black Label Black Label Society, Crowbar and Malevolence.
When Terrible had announced the B4B venture — a partnership between the vocalist, the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) and music fest promotion company Danny Wimmer Presents (Aftershock, Louder Than Life, Sonic Temple) — we’d initially heard they wouldn’t be staging anything until 2027. Now, it’s been confirmed that the first crossover event takes place May 6th at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Billed as “a heavy metal concert with intersecting bare-knuckle fighting,” the night will feature performances from Terrible’s masked deathcore crew, alongside Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society, sludge institution Crowbar and UK heavy force Malevolence. Each act is expected to perform an abbreviated set of 3 songs each.
STP’s frontman will also be on the card as a fighter, and he’s set to square off against bare-knuckle bull rider Cameron "The Bull" Delano. They're promoting the match as pitting the “Russian Grizzly” against the “American Cowboy.” Three additional fights will be on the card, and those details are forthcoming.
“It is a big honour for me to finally bring Blood4Blood to life,” Terrible said in a statement. “From the beginning I wanted to create something that shows who I really am. Fighting and heavy music have always been my world, my passion, my lifestyle.
“To have the first Blood4Blood hosted by the biggest bare-knuckle promotion in the world and to work with the biggest live promoter in North America to build this event with me means a lot. We have four real fights and four powerful bands... I will step into the ring and on the stage. I give everything. This is my heart. This is Blood4Blood.”
“This is the kind of fight that forces greatness out of both men,” added Delano. “We’re wired the same! Relentless, forward pressure, no quit in us. When two fighters refuse to give an inch, it turns into a war…and I am coming to win this blood bath.”
Tickets for Blood4Blood’s first live event go on-sale this Friday at 10 a.m. ET. More info can be found here.
Notably, Slaughter to Prevail are also set to perform May 10th at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona, which is also being staged by Danny Wimmer Presents.
STP also have their North American headline tour with Whitechapel launching later this month. You’ll find the date breakdown here.
