Over the years, the album resonated with generations of new listeners, becoming a timeless emblem of emotional transition. When the band reunited in 2014 after 15 years, they quickly sold out venues worldwide, showing just how deeply their music had taken root. Their follow-up album, also self-titled, revisits familiar themes with a more mature, introspective lens, exploring memory, change, and emotional growth. With no past legacy to exploit, American Football’s return feels fresh and sincere, shaped by years of lived experience and musical evolution.

American Football is Steve Holmes (guitar), Mike Kinsella (vocals, guitar), Nate Kinsella (bass), and Steve Lamos (drums, trumpet). American Football was recorded at ARC Studios in Omaha, NE, and SHIRK Studios in Chicago, IL, and was produced by Jason Cupp.

This exclusive LP vinyl variant is on “ Olive, Cloudy Clear, and Brown Twister” and limited to only 200 copies, so order yours today!

TRACKLIST:

Where Are We Now?

My Instincts Are the Enemy

Home Is Where the Haunt Is

Born to Lose

I've Been So Lost for So Long

Give Me the Gun

I Need a Drink (or Two or Three)

Desire Gets in the Way

Everyone Is Dressed Up

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO MANUFACTURING PROCESSES, PRODUCTS MAY VARY FROM IMAGE MOCK-UP.
