ARMA ANGELUS ‘WHERE SLEEPLESSNESS IS REST FROM NIGHTMARES’ LP (Exclusive – Various Color Vinyl)

Before Fall Out Boy, Pete Wentz fronted Chicago metallic hardcore band Arma Angelus. The band’s sole full-length, Where Sleeplessness Is Rest from Nightmares, was originally released on CD by Eulogy Recordings in 2001, capturing the intensity of Chicago hardcore at the turn of the millennium with jagged metallic riffs, punishing grooves and an urgency that still hits 25 years later.

Recorded by Adam Dutkiewicz of Killswitch Engage, Where Sleeplessness Is Rest from Nightmares has never previously been available on vinyl. For its 25th anniversary, the album has been remastered from the original tapes by Will Putney, whose production and engineering credits include Terror, Every Time I Die, Gojira, Harm’s Way and Norma Jean.

Arma Angelus’ members would go on to play in bands including Fall Out Boy, Harm’s Way, Racetraitor, Ready For Death, Extinction, Sever the Cord, Contempt and Holy Roman Empire, making the album a document of a particularly fertile period in Chicago hardcore history.

Twenty-five years after its original release, Where Sleeplessness Is Rest from Nightmares finally gets its first-ever vinyl pressing.

These exclusive variants are on " Warm Blades Splatter" & "Cold Pillows Smash" vinyl and limited to only 300 each, so order yours today!
