With their second album, Atreyu sunk their teeth into the meatiest depths of anthemic, early aughts metalcore. A crimson river of triplet-judded hooks, arena-ready choruses and blood-spewing screams transformed their Curse into a blessing in disguise — ultimately going gold in the U.S. and landing Atreyu a No. 1 spot on the Billboard indie charts.
