Following the early Nineties departure of longtime guitarist Jim Martin, vocalist Mike Patton’s Mr. Bungle pal Trey Spruance joined the band briefly to riff through anything from darkened-alley punk-metal (“Get Out”), to scatological thrashing (“Cuckoo for Caca”), to big band grandeur (“Star A.D.”), to tear-in-your-beer bar-rock (“Take this Bottle”), to free-spirited, choir-assisted gospel subversion (“Just a Man”).
