Post-hardcore was never the same after Worship & Tribute. The Long Island brainchild of vocalist Daryl Palumbo and multi-instrumentalist Justin Beck were at the forefront of their genre after their 2000 debut, but their 2002 LP is when they nailed a style that sounds both utterly singular and incalculably influential to this day — a cocktail of soulful croons, manic shrieks, cathartic chords and spastic mayhem. Plus, it’s a record with a record on the cover. You gotta own it on vinyl.
