GOLDMINE FALL 2026 ISSUE FEATURING KEO

Keo! The young British band chart a bold new course for modern rock.

Keo channel the angst and pop sensibility of Nirvana, the vocal expression of Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and the artful intensity of Jeff Buckley into emotionally rich rock that acknowledges the past while pushing toward the future.

Formed by singer, songwriter and guitarist Finn Keogh and his bass-playing brother, Conor, alongside lead guitarist Jimmy Lanwern and drummer Oli Spackman, Keo quickly made their mark with the 2024 single “Fly” and 2025’s independently released Siren EP. Now signed to Island Records, the four 22-year-olds are preparing to release their full-length debut, Put a Smile On for Me.

In Goldmine’s in-depth cover feature, Finn Keogh and Lanwern open up about the band’s Irish musical roots, their journey from childhood busking to the London rock scene, the importance of preserving imperfection in the studio and why honesty remains at the heart of everything Keo creates.
