Marking the start of what promises to be a monumental year for the British brothers, the album embraces happy accidents, machine malfunctions, and beautiful imperfections, all underpinned by the unflinching confidence they’ve built since emerging as one of the defining electronic acts of the 2020s. Their 2023 debut Good Lies, hailed by The Guardian as “UK rave history distilled to perfection,” introduced Overmono on a global scale. Since then, collaborations with artists including Joy Orbison, High Contrast, Smerz, Fred again.., Lil Yachty, Skiifall, and The Streets have kept them firmly at the forefront of contemporary electronic music. Renowned for their award-winning audio-visual live show, Overmono reached new heights in 2025 with a headline set at Glastonbury’s West Holts stage and a sold-out Alexandra Palace, alongside debut appearances at major US festivals including Coachella, Portola, Lollapalooza, and Movement. In 2026, Pure Devotion will soundtrack a global run of headline shows and festival appearances across the US and beyond. As Stereogum noted, “the Russells know how to retain enough understated cool to keep their output riveting…”
