Perhaps understandably, the band’s sixth full-length isn’t one of Queens of the Stone Age’s most uproarious rock and roll efforts — its opening “Keep Your Eyes Peeled” exists upon a macabre, spidery slink, while “The Vampyre of Time and Memory” is a beautifully dark goth-glam contemplation.
