RUSH 'FLY BY NIGHT' LP

Released in 1975, Fly by Night introduced drum god and lyricist Neal Peart into the fold, setting in place one of the most iconic power trio lineups in rock and roll history. Rush’s second album is where the Canadian band really dial-up the prog-rock aesthetic, from groove-choogled yet time signature-jumping epic “Anthem” to the band’s fantastical, nearly nine-minute “By-Tor and the Snow Dog.” Still, its title track is a compact, gloriously hard-jangled classic rock staple. A pivotal moment for Rush, ready to soar from your speakers time and time again.
