THE BLACK CROWES ON TOUR 2026

In 2001, The Black Crowes released their stellar masterwork “Lions.” Their sixth studio creation featured thirteen amazing tunes written by the legendary brothers Chris Robinson and Rich Robinson, and was celebrated by the fans pushing the record into the Top 20 album charts.

Featuring the soon to be Black Crowes classics like the Top Ten “Lickin’” “Soul Singing” and “Cosmic Friend,” the recording would go on to become one of their most revered albums in their catalog.

Produced by Don Was (Rolling Stones/Was Not Was), the “Lions” album was recorded in New York City featuring Chris Robinson (lead vocals) Rich Robinson(lead guitar/bass/piano) Don Was (bass) with Audley Reed on guitar and Steve Gorman on drums.

With its hard rock influences ranging from Led Zeppelin to the more R&B and funk infused styles of the late 60’s, “Lions” roars on with excitement on every song and truly will continue to do so for years to come.

Friday Music is no stranger to the incredible music of The Black Crowes, therefore we are very pleased to celebrate 25 Years of their classic “Lions” now on first time ever Clear Orange Crush Vinyl.

Produced by Don Was and Mastered impeccably from the Melody Catalog tapes by Joe Reagoso (Rod Stewart/The Black Crowes) at Friday Music Studios, the 2 Lp album will also be featured in a stunning gatefold album cover.
