Faith No More just dropped a cryptic teaser on Instagram: their eight-pointed star logo and the year 2027 over a packed crowd photo, no caption. The image lands alongside news that the band has signed a long-term global touring deal with Brazilian promoter 30e, adding real weight to what might otherwise read as a vague tease.
Manager Tim Moss confirmed the partnership: "Faith No More has never followed a conventional path, and that's exactly why this partnership with 30e makes sense. They bring a fresh perspective, real strategic depth, and a global ambition aligned with the band's vision. Most importantly, they understand how to build something relevant around Faith No More without compromising what makes the band unique."
Their last concert was August 20, 2016, at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, a club date tied to the reissue of their 1985 debut We Care a Lot. That show followed the Sol Invictus Tour, which ran through 2015 in support of the band's seventh studio album. A return had seemed possible when the band announced 2021 and 2022 dates, but Patton pulled out citing mental health reasons, and those shows were scrapped entirely. In the years since, he has kept busy with Dead Cross and the Mr. Bungle reunion. In a February 2026 appearance on the Kyle Meredith With… podcast, Patton said the band's final run had carried an unspoken "sense of closure," though he framed it not as loss but as a chance to "be present and appreciate it while it's happening." Keyboardist Roddy Bottum flatly ruled out an FNM reunion as recently as last October.
No dates have been announced. Metal Edge will update this story as more information becomes available.

Faith No More bassist Billy Gould has confirmed the band will return to live activity in 2027. Speaking to Rock Talk, the newly launched podcast from longtime Serbian hard rock and heavy metal journalist Jadranka Janković Nešić, Gould left no room for ambiguity when asked about the band's possible comeback: "Yeah, we're gonna do it. We're gonna play. Yeah, we're gonna do it."
