If you’re anything like us, you’re probably reading this in disbelief. After six long years — and more memes about the wait than we can count — it’s finally happening. Loathe have announced their third studio album, A Stranger To You, due out 17 July via SharpTone Records.
Alongside the reveal, the band have unleashed “Revenant,” their heaviest track to date and their first new music since “Gifted Every Strength” landed nearly a year ago. The song features NOWHERE2RUN, the project helmed by Code Orange’s Jami Morgan and Eric “Shade” Balderose.
“REVENANT” WATCH:
The Liverpool outfit have spent the six years since I Let It In and It Took Everything touring relentlessly, watching their fanbase swell at a rate most bands could only dream of — all without releasing a single new song. A Stranger To You marks their first full-length since that now cult‑classic second record, and sees the band taking full control behind the scenes: the album was engineered, produced, and mixed by Loathe’s own Erik Bickerstaffe, with additional mixing from Ed Al‑Shakarchi.
Guest appearances come from Jordan Rakei, Static Dress, Mansur Brown, NOWHERE2RUN, and bucki sugar — a lineup that underlines just how far Loathe’s creative world stretches beyond the boundaries of metal.
To mark the occasion, we’ve teamed up for an exclusive vinyl drop: A Stranger To You will be available in Natural Black Marbled and Orange Transparent Black Marbled variants, limited to just 500 copies of each. They’re available now in our store — and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
