Let’s face it: half of the appeal of owning Thirteenth Step is so that giant slug crawling on a woman’s face can be displayed proudly on your living room wall. And then there’s the music itself. A Perfect Circle’s second album saw them transform from TOOL frontman Maynard James Keenan’s interesting side project to one of the most intriguing bands in alt-metal. Tracks like "Weak and Powerless” and "The Outsider” are fascinating accomplishments, and hearing them on vinyl is a must.
