AFI returns with Silver Bleeds the Black Sun..., their twelfth album and a bold new chapter in their constant evolution. Drawing from their roots in late ’70s and early ’80s death rock and post-punk, the band channels influences like Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, and Siouxsie and the Banshees into a dreamy, ethereal sound. Dark, otherworldly, and grandiose, it’s unmistakably AFI, yet unlike anything they’ve done before.
