CRYPTOPSY 'BLASPHEMY MADE FLESH' LP

Label: SEASON OF MIST
Release Date: 10/03/2025
Variant: Black Vinyl

Cryptopsy spiraled metal towards a frenzied new era with the chaotic tech-death absurdism of their debut album, 1994’s Blasphemy Made Flesh. After initially contorting through a thrash-styled early run as Necrosis, the Quebecois outfit picked up drum master Flo Mournier, dialed up the intensity with quick-pivot riffs and blasts that broke the speed barrier, and renamed themselves Cryptopsy. Blasphemy Made Flesh remains a decidedly relentless expression of early Nineties death-metal. Pressed on pristine black wax and ready to flay.
