MR. BUNGLE 'DISCO VOLANTE' 2LP (Translucent Light Blue Vinyl)

Released in 1995, Mr. Bungle’s second full-length release pushed the experimental outfit into the darkest recesses of their own metal-amplified imaginations. Across the brilliantly bizarre and eclectic outing, the California genre contortionists violently car-crashed sludge metal into free jazz, vibed-out through haunted house mambos, and discovered the nexus point between Looney Tunes scores, thrash and techno. Vocalist Mike Patton puts on an elastic performance that snaps from vicious screams and childlike coos towards slicked pompadour crooning. Plunge into the deep, disturbing waters of Disco Volante on this double-sized repress on translucent light blue vinyl.
