Castle Rat are bringing the Realm back to North America. The Brooklyn fantasy-metal outfit have announced the Summon The Beast Tour, a 20-date headline run this fall that stands as the biggest of their career. It opens September 23rd in Baltimore, hits The Belasco in Los Angeles, and closes October 21st with a hometown show at the legendary Webster Hall in New York.
The run caps a breakout spring. Castle Rat spent six weeks opening the Amonklok Conquest, the Amon Amarth and Dethklok co-headline tour, playing to 75,000 people before closing the stretch with a sold-out 1,400-capacity headliner in Anaheim. We caught them at Brooklyn Paramount and named them a must-see at Sonic Temple ; both nights, the choreographed battle with the Rat Reaperess hit harder than a support slot has any right to. The band's mission, as the Rat Queen puts it, is to expand and defend the Realm from those who seek to destroy it, and the fall run reads like the next campaign.
The Bestiary, their second album, arrived in late 2025. Produced by Randall Dunn, whose credits include Sunn O))), Wolves in the Throne Room, and Björk, it confirmed that Into The Realm's 10 million Spotify streams were no fluke.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time. Full dates below.
