Fuel have released "Bad at Love," the third single from their seventh studio album, 'Pendulum', due October 30. The song sits with the ugliest part of a breakup: the slow realization that you were the reason it ended. Aaron Scott sings it as a confession — no deflection, no villain to point at, just a man taking inventory of the damage while the band detonates around him.
"Bad at Love" is a sharp reminder of what Fuel do best: huge hooks, real emotional weight, and guitars made to fill an arena. Founding guitarist Carl Bell drops a solo into the bridge that proves the writer of "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" still has plenty in the tank.
The single follows July's "Want It," a driving statement about perseverance, and August's "Pull Me In," a heavier meditation on grief and memory. Three singles in, 'Pendulum' is shaping up to be the most convincing case yet for the current Fuel lineup. Scott calls the record a spiritual successor to 2003's 'Natural Selection', and longtime drummer Kevin Miller has said it ranks among the heaviest in the catalog.

The album marks the second full-length from the band's present five: Bell, Miller, Scott, guitarist Mark Klotz, and bassist Tommy Nat. Aaron Scott sounds fully at home fronting the band whose songs he grew up on — he joined in 2022, a few years after performing "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" on NBC's The Voice, and his arrival reshaped the writing dynamic. "Want It" was the first song he brought to Bell after signing on.
Fuel spent the summer on the road, including a packed underplay at New York's Silver Lining Lounge in September. U.S. dates continue through the fall with stops in Perry, GA (Oct. 13), Bensalem, PA (Nov. 6), and Green Bay, WI (Dec. 12).
